APPOINTMENTS

Please be on time and check in with the receptionist immediately upon arrival.

Please keep your scheduled appointments as they are set up at specific times for follow-up of your individual medical problems. If you must reschedule, please contact our office at least 24 hours in advance so we may schedule your time to another patient needing medical care.

Efforts to accommodate individual requests for physicians will be made; however, due to emergencies, surgery and other responsibilities, our schedules may change. We ask for your patience and understanding when these situations arise.

THE VASCULAR LABORATORY

Non-invasive vascular testing is an integral part of the diagnosis of vascular disorders. It gives us additional objective information concerning circulation to the brain and legs (both veins and arteries). We order specific tests periodically, depending on your particular needs.

RECORDS AND CONFIDENTIALITY

If you are entering the practice, please request your present physician to send your medical information and any test results to our office. It is important that we have this information at the time of your visit. No patient information will leave our office without the consent of the patient.

AVAILABILITY

Emergency care is always available - one of our physicians is on call twenty-four hours a day.

Our office hours are:

Allentown Office: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Lehighton Office: Wednesday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
Muhlenberg Office: Tuesday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
After hours calls are intercepted by our answering service so please limit them to urgent and emergency matters. If you do not receive a return call in a reasonable time, please call again, sometimes phone numbers are misunderstood due to technical difficulties.

Please place non-emergency calls during office hours so we may have access to your medical records.

HOSPITAL CARE

In order to provide continuity of care to our patients in the hospital, our individual physicians make hospital rounds on a weekly, rotational basis. Comprehensive updates and reports are communicated amongst all our Doctors in the group. Follow-up office visits are done by all the physicians. We routinely utilize the skills of our consultants in inernal medicine, cardiology,
endocrinology and infectious disease to assist in your hospital care.
